Mighty Thor
The Avengers movie is on the way. The Projected release of the movie is July 15 2011. But before that happens, Marvel has taken a leap in bringing the Son of Odin into the big screen on July 16, 2010.
The superhero that Stan Lee and Jack Kirby molded in August of 1962 will grace the screen wielding his enchanted hammer Mjolnir. Kenneth Branagh, known for his role as the vain, narcissistic, wand totting warlock Gilderoy Lockhart in the Harry Potter movie was asked to direct the movie. But until now, the question of who will be the lucky actor to be handed the the contract is still left unanswered.
the rumor is that, Brad Pitt was being considered to fit the 6′6″ frame of Thor. The WWE wrestler Tripple H was also mentioned and so with the actor James Preston Rogers. Whoever will end up holding the Mjolnir is a lucky SOB. Thor is one of the most loved superhero character in marvel history.
It has been rumored that the story line is about a diety who was banished to earth by His father Odin without a memory of who he is. He became Dr. Donald Blake who later discover his true identity while he kicks some alien ass.
It is also not sure if there will be a cameo appearnces of other Avengers character on the movie like what Nick Fury did in the Iron Man movie or What Tony Starks did in the Incredible Hulk movie.
So untill the dotted lines has been signed, all we could do is wait and hope that it will be signed.
